About AIESEC Ethiopia: AIESEC in Ethiopia was founded in 2008 by the cooperation between AIESEC Italy and KPMG Italy, with the
support of giz and various AIESEC Alumni for the AIESEC International Network in Ethiopia. AIESEC begin official operations in
Ethiopia in 2011 after being recognized and registered as an Ethiopian society under the ministry of justice, agency of charities
and societies. It is currently undergoing re-registration to be organized as Ethiopian Charities and societies. AIESEC Ethiopia is
currently active in 6 universities. The LCs are as follows AAU, EiABC, Unity (City based LC), Mekelle University, Hawassa University
and Expansion in School of Commerce.

About the conference: NLDS FIRED UP ’15 is AIESEC Ethiopia’s second national conference in the AIESEC year. It is the
National Leadership and Development Seminar. The purpose of NLDS is to bring together the leaders and members of the
organization to a National Leadership and Development Seminar (NLDS) to train them on the various functional areas,
provide updates on the new strategies and also create a platform for networking among members. NLDS provides with an
opportunity: • For leadership development and skills building
• For LCs to build a strong leadership pipeline
• For knowledge and skills acquisition to enhance performance in current roles and preparation for future roles.
• To build attitudes needed to manage teams and operations effectively
• For networking among members
• As final sprint for the entity in re-planning and making 2015 happen

Additionally we are going to have: MCVP 14-15 Elections, Global Village, Gala Dinner and Partnership Launches. Official

• 25th January 2015 – Facilitators team announcement and Work commencement
• 06th-07th February 2015– pre-meeting at the MC House (Ethiopia)
• 08th-12th February 2015 – FIERD UP’15
• 13th February 2015 – post-meeting
