Isaac’s Physical Development Gross Motor
• Isaac is developing typically in his physical development. He consistently comes inside sweaty
from running around outside with his friends.
• He is able to point up and down when Mrs. P asks the children to do this for ini(al and ending sounds.
• Isaac can hop on one foot then the other, reach up high, and touch his toes.

• In the beginning of the year Isaac used his leE hand to write.
• Now he uses his right hand to write.

• On the first day of school, Isaac cut out the boIom of the star, but had to rip a lot of the extra paper off, and then leE a lot of the paper on the top of the star.

• By October, Isaac had shown a lot of growth with his ability to cut with scissors. This is documented in a seasons book where he cut out small circles around two bird.

• Isaac is beginning to develop an understanding of word families. We will con(nue working on this next semester!

• Isaac demonstrates further knowledge of shapes, by correctly iden(fying a shape before using it to build a picture.
