Burroughs Parent Teacher Association [PTA] helps facilitate parent involvement to offer our kids and community the following benefits?

First day of school – bring in:• paperwork from Meet the Teacher evening• Student MPS ID number*• lunchbox and water bottle labeled with child’s name• after school light snack if attending Active Solutions;

*Cafeteria staff will help kiddos punch in their ID numbers and get them situated.

• Stay in the car; child hops out of the car.• Drop-off circle is not a parking spot

Pick-up during school day (For an appointment)

• Park and come into the office• Sign out your child• Your child will meet you in the office• If returning to school, sign in your child at the office.

After School Pick-up • After 3 p.m., please do not drive into the Main Entrance Circle. This area is for buses.

• Park and wait inside the atrium where all kids are dismissed

• Teacher will walk your child to the atrium• Please meet your child in the atrium and not in the

classroom• Kindergarten classes walk out to the atrium at 3:30pm

If you are later than 3:40pm, you can meet your child in the school office.
