Case StudyMessage from the Inventor....
The inception and concept of MagneTainer began as a 5th
grade science fair project, “Magnets in Orthodontics.” That project explored some of the possibilities for future magnetic orthodontic appliances, closing spaces, holding spaces or holding teeth in place, just to name a few. Little did we know that grade school project would be the first step eventually leading to the innovation of MagneTainer.

Clinical Indications
MagneTainer is used for the long term retention and stabilization of the lower 3 x 3 segment. The system is designed to maintain ideal interdental space and physical orientation of teeth which are naturally well approximated.
MagneTainer is meant to be bonded the day that labial treatment ends. The device uses mutually attractive forces of magnets to provide stability and maintain ideal alignment of orthodontically treated, or well aligned teeth.
It is important to follow the proper bonding protocol and use the correct materials. These are enclosed in the Instructions for use that come with each patient kit.
