Dates to Remember:

Term one trip: March 2018

Parent Teachers Interview:

May 2018

Class Photos: August 2018

Anniversary concert: August

2018.

December and January has been very quite as most of the children were on a

holiday. However we have taken the advantage of this quite period and we

have provided our children with some quality time and took them on trips.

Children loved visiting our new centre Immanuel Preschool Favona which was

opened in late November last year. They loved going there and playing with

their new friends, toys and equipment. we would like to thank our Lord Jesus

Christ for His continuous support and guidance so far.

Children have shown immense interest in outdoor play, indoor play, musical

session and transition to school programs. They have taken their initiative to-

wards team work and collaboratively enjoyed their play together. Children are

learning how to socially interact with each other through play and communica-

tion.

As a part of celebrating Waitangi Day our tamariki showed lot of interest in

understanding Maori concepts. They were given the opportunity to learn what

Treaty of Waitangi means. They learnt about New Zealand flag, Maori Tipare,

Maori patterns and its significance. Signing of the treaty was also done by the e

tamariki . They have shown their respect for tikanga Māori and a love for te

reo Māori along side the European culture. We would continue to uphold and

respect the Treaty. Please look out for the fun activities we would be doing in

the coming weeks.

A big welcome to Kian and Papa Hine

who have joined Immanuel Preschool.

We pray and hope that they would enjoy

their learning journey at Immanuel

Preschool.
