CHAPTER * - NATURE AND EFFECT OF OBLIGATIONS Art. 116+. Every .erson obliged to give so%et/ing is also obliged to ta5e care o$ it (it/ t/e .ro.er diligence o$ a good $at/er o$ a $a%ily, unless t/e la( or t/e sti.ulation o$ t/e .arties re6uires anot/er standard o$ care. 102-a!Art. 116-. T/e creditor /as a rig/t to t/e $ruits o$ t/e t/ing $ro% t/e ti%e t/e obligation to deliver it arises. T/ose (/o in t/e .er$or%ance o$ t/eir obligations are guilty o$ $raud, negligence, or delay, and t/ose (/o in any %anner contravene t/e tenor t/ereo$, are liable $or da%ages. 1101!Art. 11"1. Pure and Conditional #bligations Art. 11"2. A solidary creditor cannot assign /is rig/ts (it/out t/e consent o$ t/e ot/ers. n!Art. 1*1-.
