1.ParkyourRZRonaflatsurfaceanddoNOTjackitup.Thisinstallationiseasiestifthecarissittingontheground.Makesureyourlowercontrolarmsandsteeringboxframemountsarecleanbeforestarting.

2.Removetheplasticmountthatholdsthebrakelineandfrontdifferentialwirefromtheframeanddiscardit.Yourbrakelineanddifferentialwirewillnowberoutedbetweenthesteeringboxboltsinsideoftheframesectionthattheyusedtomountto.

3.Locatethesmallroundholeonthepassengersideoftheverticalframestructureapproximately10”upfromtheskidplate.Drillitoutto3/8”.Seepicturetotheright.Repeatthisonthedriversidetakingcarenottodrillthroughtheinsideedgeoftheframestructurethatisnotpre-drilledliketheoutsideis.

4.Mounttheblackswaybarbrackettotheframewiththefoldedtopfacingforwardusingtwoofthefour3/8x1”bolts,washersandnylocknuts.Snugthesedown,donottightenthemyet.

5.Pushthebottomofthebrackettightagainsttheframewithyourhandsothebracketsitsflatagainsttheframeandholdinplace.Usingthelowerholein

thebracketasaguidedrilla3/8”holeinthefactoryframe.Seepicturebelow.

6.Nowinstallthelowerboltsusingtheremaining3/8x1bolts,washersandnylocknuts.Pullupanddownonthebrakelineandfrontdifferentialwiretomakesuretheyareloosebehindtheswaybarbracketandbetweentherackandpinionbolts.YOUDONOTWANTTOPINCHTHESE!Nowtightenallfourboltscompletely.

7.Iftheswaybarhasnotalreadybeeninstalledonit’sframeplatethengreasethebushingsandinstallthemontheswaybar,OUTSIDEofthecenteringrings.Slidethealuminimbushingclampsoverthebushings.Theywillbetightandmayneedatapfromarubbermallet.Installtheswaybarassemblyontheswaybarplateusingthe5/16”bolts,washersandnylocksandtighten.Theswaybarshouldmoveupanddownwithlittleresistance.Ifthebaristootightandrequiresexcessiveforcetomovethenyouhaveitinabindandmakesuretheswaybarplateisboltedtothechassisstraight.

8.Now,measurefromthebushingtubeofthelowercontrolarmout3”andmakeamark.Thisiswheretheinsideofthebilletarmclampshouldbe.Seethepicturetotheright.

9.Installthearmclampsonthearmslooselywiththelowerboltonly.Theboltsfortheclampsare3/8x2”andusethestainlesswashers.Installthesewiththeboltsfromthefrontsothereisnothingstickingoutofthebackoftheclamp.Nowinstallthelink

withthestainlessspacersinthebilletarmclampandtightenboth5/16x2”bolts.Makesuretheclampisoutsideofthemarkbuttouchingthe3”markonthearmandthatitisstraightupanddown.DonotletitleanbacktowardtheCVboot.IfyoudonothavethemstraighttheCVbootclampcanhitthearmclampandfail.TightenthemSTRAIGHTup.Seethepicturetotheleft.Theseshouldbetightenedto30ftlbswithatorquewrench.

10.Installthetopofthelinktotheoutsideoftheendholeoftheswaybar(closesttothefrontbumper)usingthe5/16x21/4”bolts,

washersandnylocknuts.Thelinksshouldcomesettothesamelengthandtheyshouldlineuptotheswaybareasily.IftheydonotlinerightupthencheckthatyourRZRisperfectlyflatfromlefttoright.Adjustyourcarasneeded.Ifyourcarislevelandthelinksstilldonotlineupeasilythenboltoneofthelinkstotheswaybarandadjusttheotherlinklongertolineupwiththeswaybarhole.Thegoalhereisthatwhenthecarislevelthebarhasnotensiononit.Youwanteverythingtobefreeandeasytoinstallwhenthecarisperfectlylevel.Ifyoudon’tfollowthisprocedurethenthecarcansitcrooked.Thelinksareadjustablesoyoucanaccountforallthelittledifferencesfromcartocarandarmtoarmandmakethisfrontswaybarsystemworkperfectlyforyou.Now,tightenthelinktotheswaybarandtightenthejamnutsontherodendstothealuminumlink.YourswaybarinstallationisDONE!

Tuningyourswaybariseasyandyoushould,byallmeans,tryitoutinallofit’spositionsandseewhatyoulikethebestforyourdrivingandterrain.Thefrontholeclosesttothefrontbumperisthesoftestsetting(mostbodyroll)theswaybarwillallow.Thisismuch,muchlessbodyrollthanstocksostarthere.Thisisperfectfordesertorlowtraction,loosedirtsituations.Themiddleandlastholeclosesttotheframemountareconsiderablystiffer(lessbodyroll).Themiddleholeisbeperfectforahighersidebiteortractionsituationslikesandduneswithrazortires,racetracks,tackyclay,ect.Thestiffestsetting,lasthole,isbestforveryheavycars,shortcourseracingwithloweredrideheightsandanexperienceddriver.Youalsohavemoreadjustmentsthatcanbemadeusingthearmclamp.Ifyouruntheclampouttothe4”distanceyouareaddingleveragetotheswaybarandmakingitstiffer(lessbodyroll).Donotgooutfartherthan4”orincloserthan3”.

Thisswaybarsystemisdesignedtoworkwiththestockarmsystem.Ifyouhaveanaftermarketsetofarms,youshouldinstallthebarandremovethecoilspringsfromyourshocksandcyclethesystemtobe100%SUREtherearenoclearanceissueswithupperarmsorotherthingsthatmayhavechangedonanaftermarketsystem.Lastthing,gooutandhavefun.Runithardandchangethesettingsonthebartoseewhatyoulike.Thankyouagainandenjoy.
