Kerzner Project Manager Award Nominations
What is the Kerzner Award? – The Kerzner Award for Project Management Excellence recognizes and
honors an individual who has demonstrated significant contributions and continual commitment to the project management profession by enhancing project management concepts, practices, and techniques.
Who is Eligible? – Any individual who has shown leadership in advancing the project
management profession and continuously exemplifying the characteristics of a strong, effective project manager throughout their career. This person would have shown an ongoing commitment to the standards, goals and practices of project management.
When are nominations due?
– Nominations must be received no later than February 29th. Watch the chapter website, www.pmineo.org, for more information on submitting nominations.
Project of the Year Award Nominations
What is the Project of the Year Award? – The Project of the Year Award recognizes and honors the premier
project in the Northeast Ohio area for the year, taking into account the use of project management principles, particularly the PMBOK in the planning, design, construction, and implementation of the project.
What projects are eligible for nomination? – Any project completed in Northeast Ohio during the 2015 calendar
year. Project of the Year Award is based on the Northeast Ohio project of most significance and may be presented to one individual or a group of individuals.

Student Leadership (Academic)
• Increased recurring relationship from 5 colleges (Case, Akron, CSU, BW, Tri-C) to 7 colleges (DeVry, ITT). On track to add at least 1 (KSU) more in 2016 – promote the Project Management discipline, PMI, PMP and career panel discussions.
• Held our first Speed Mentoring event in October.
• We offer a scholarship to a college student each year in partnership with PMI Education Foundation (PMIEF.org)
