The Sylvia Lawry Centre is a
German based non-for-profit
organisation. It was estab-
lished in February 2001 to
support research into the
causes of multiple sclerosis
and to accelerate the deve-
lopment of effective thera-
pies, by using innovative sta-
tistical methods and state-
of-the art computer techno-
logy combined with medical
expertise.
The Centre has been
supported by data donors –
pharmaceutical companies
and individual clinical
investigators – who have
already contributed 50
datasets from essentially
all clinical trials and natural
history studies that have
been done in MS over the
past 20 years.
The Centre is directed by
Dr. Martin Daumer.
