Note:  The  Physics  30  diploma  examination  consists  of  36  multiple-­‐choice  and  14  numerical-­‐response  items,  of  equal  weight.  Fewer  than  half  the  items  require  a  calculation.

Number  of  questions  per  outcome  on  the  diploma:

Momentum  and  Impulse:  10–20%   (outcome  #1)Forces  and  Fields:  25–35%     (outcomes  #2,  #3,  and  #4)Electromagnetic  Radiation:  25–35%   (outcome  #5,  #6,  and  #7)Atomic  Physics:  20–30%       (outcome  #8)

Time  for  diploma:  2  hours  +  ½  hourTime  for  each  question:  3  minutes

Instructions:  • Set  the  timer  on  your  phone  for  45  min.  This  gives  you  a  time  of  3  minutes  per  question.  • Once  the  time  is  up,  go  to  msbooth.ca  for  answer  key  and  mark  your  practice  test• Record  your  mark  for  this  practice  diploma  • Go  back  over  with  answer  key  to  understand  mistakes  and  try  questions  you  ran  out  of  time  for
