Soundcloud allows users to be Listeners or Artists.

Listeners are free members who are allowed to stream uploaded content, comment on artists pages and “repost” the songs that they enjoy the most.

Registered SoundCloud users have the power to listen to as much content as they wish, as well as the ability to download up to 100 songs from the site.

SoundCloud also allows its musician users to upload up to 120 minutes of audio to their profile. All of these features are free of charge and are available to all SoundCloud users as soon as they have a registered profile with the site.
