Kingcham Matting Agent Interior Matting Agent
Interior Matting Agent M-20
Appearance: Ivory or pale yellow powder
Bulk density: 450-550 g/l
Non volatile: 99%
Typical properties
Acrylic resin and catalyst
Composition
Application
1. M-20 is suitable for above 3%(60°) of gloss in polyester epoxy hybrid powder coatings.
2. Wax-free type. The recoatability and transfer-image properties of coatings are not influenced.
3. Compared with 68 series matting hardener, M-20 has better anti-yellowing and scratch resistance properties.
4. Good gloss stability after twice extruded.
5. M-20 can adopt toaster or cold furnace to bake due to small sensitivity of furnace temperature.
6. Chemical matting agent, good storage stability. It reacts with epoxy as 1:2.3.
7. M-20 is suitable for almost 50/50 or 60/40 type hybrid polyester resins without remarkable selectivity.
8. Heavy metal contents of this product conforms to the EU RoHS standard.
Usage method & level
Premix M-20 with other material and co-extrude. The dosage is 1-5% by total weight of formulation. The more of the dosage, the lower for the gloss.
