IAH MLIT Terminal Commercial Manager Model
• Concessions Program Focused on Customer Service that is integrated into the terminal design
• Centrally located concessions core containing a significant portion of the concessions program to create a “grand hall / market place” for gathering
• Satellite concessions intermixed within the hold-room seating areas providing opportunities for additional revenue generation
• Concession facilities that create a “Sense of Place”
• Award winning concessions with a focus on international passenger shopping and dining trends
• World-class specialty retail, duty free and food/beverage offerings

• Ensure adequate support space for concessionaires, including off-site options
MLIT Concessions Vision
• An innovative strategy and approach for financing, developing, designing, leasing and managing all commercial activities in the new Mickey Leland International Terminal (MLIT) and the Federal Inspection Services Building
• The TCM will be responsible for, at a minimal:
– Food and Beverage Services
– Specialty Retail
– Duty & Tax Free Retail
– News and Convenience Retail
– Airport Advertising
– Common-use lounge(s)/club rooms and or private suites for use by certain airline passengers and others for a fee,
– Passenger amenities including, but not limited to: foreign currency exchange, ATMs, spas, massage, haircare, nail care, shoeshine, baggage cart services, baggage wrap services, and other services and amenities as approved by HAS
Terminal Commercial Manager
• The CRCD will serve as the central receiving and distribution point for all food,
beverage, retail, and other goods for IAH.
• The CRDC will:
– Enhance security and safety,
– Reduce traffic on surrounding roadways and airside areas,
– Streamline operations,
– Be environmentally friendly by reducing emissions
