AboutThe Live Events and Promotion apprenticeship has been designed, with the help of employers, to widen the pool of potential recruits into the industry. Live Events and Promotion involves everything to do with putting on a show or event- from promoting the event to staging it.
ImpactThe Live Events and Promotion industry is part of the wider creative and cultural sector. Growth in live outdoor and other special events has seen organisations having to use both unqualified and untrained staff. The recruitment of an apprentice will allow skills-gaps in the current workforce to be filled and will train recruits in administrative support roles, including;
Intermediate level apprentices - Stage & Venue Crew , Event Booking Agent Assistants.
Advanced level apprentices - Music & Events Promotions Assistant, Events Assistant, Events/Entertainment Officer, Venue and Staff Crew.

AboutThis diverse sector provides progression opportunities for those pursuing a career in libraries, archives, records and information management services. The scope and definition of the workforce have therefore changed to reflect a broader focus and to recognise the important and quite distinct roles that individuals play in libraries, archive facilities and other records and information management environments, in both the public and private sector.
ImpactThis apprenticeship will allow employers to tap into the talents and skills of the wider population to encourage more entrants into the libraries, archives, records and information management. By offering an apprenticeship opportunity, you will provide a basis for the development of a range of transferable skills as well as addressing specific skills gaps to support the establishment of a more diverse workforce. This will equip the apprentice with a clear pathway for career progression within the libraries, archives, records and information management services sector, as well as in wider sectors of the UK economy. For current employees already working in the industry, it will provide a greater understanding- from technical knowledge to customer behaviour.
