INTERNATIONAL EVENINGThank you so much for coming to our International Evening - itwas really lovely to see so many families. As ever the food wasamazing and there was so much of it! One table had Bolivianrice, Irish stew, British sausages, East African bread and Irishsoda bread!

YEAR 3 TATEEXHIBITION

Last year our current Year 4 took part inthe Steve McQueen Year 3 portraitproject. The exhibition has just opened atthe Tate so do go along and find ourchildren!

THANK YOUA massive thank you to everyone whobrought in their spare internationalcurrency for the library. We have startedsorting through it and are really moved byeveryone’s generosity and enthusiasm.It’s very exciting to think about all thejourneys made by Lyndhurst’s familiesover the years, to such a fascinatingvariety of places. We have managed tosort only a fraction of it but haveidentified money from over 37 differentcountries already! We will of course letyou know once we have a finaltally, but the bucket is still in the office ifyou stumble across any otherunwanted coins!

PENS FOR KIDS UKLeo from Waikato Class is collecting pens,crayons and pencils for "Pens for Kids UK"to send to school in Ghana and India. Ifyou have any working pens, pencils orcrayons you would like to donate, pleasedrop them off in the box outside WaikatoClass.

Last week we reached 95.81% as a school with first placegoing to Yarra with 99.23%, second place going to Amazonwith 98.52% and third place going to Rio Grande with 98%.
