Welcome
Thank you for being here for worship this Sunday! Our mission at First Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. We are inspired by the words of John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, who encouraged believers to “do all the good you can, in all the ways you can.”

Do Good:
Our youth have a wonderful opportunity to partner with
Help 4 Kids and build beds for children in Myrtle Beach who
are either sleeping on the floor of their home or sharing a
bed with a sibling. We will be building bed kits here at the
church in December and then delivering and assembling
these kits at the homes of these children, this is how you can help! If you haven’t
already purchased a ‘Do Good’ shirt, please find Jennifer Hupko or come by the
church office to purchase one or more of these awesome shirts
for $15/shirt or you can make a donation to the Youth Fund in
honor or memory of loved one. The cost of each kit is $120,
please consider helping us with this endeavor. If you have any
questions, please contact Jennifer Hupko at the church office.
Shepherd’s Child Program Please note, there have been a
few changes to the program this
year. The fellowship time with the
children begins immediately
following worship on Sunday,
December 10 and culminates with
a celebration at Johnny Rockets
with members of First Church Youth. The
parents of the Shepherd’s Child children will
have the opportunity to purchase $100 gift
cards for $10 again this year. Your donations
will be greatly appreciated. Any questions
contact Ron or Jackie Carpenter.
December 6th | 6pm | Sanctuary
We will gather in the sanctuary for a
Service of Lessons about Carols as we
celebrate the music of the season.
Join us on the front lawn immediately
after the Service of Lessons about
Carols as we share cookies and hot
chocolate and light the magnificent
old oak tree with lights.
