Making the CPMs work for your budget
• CPM refers to the cost for 1,000 ad views
• An ad view is counted each time your ad appears on someone’s computer when they load Design*Sponge
• Design*Sponge averages approx. 6,652,000 page views per month (as of June 2010)
• To calculate the number of ad views available for your budget, divide your budget by the appropriate CPM rate, then multiply that number by 1000
• $500 minimum order applies to all CPM ads

CAMPAIGN LAUNCH CHECKLIST
PROPRIETARY & CONFIDENTIAL

– All Small Rectangle ad files, including flash, must not exceed 30k in size. – All Wide Skyscraper ad files, including flash, must not exceed 60k in size. – All Medium Rectangle ad files, including flash, must not exceed 60k in size. – All Button ad files, including flash, must not exceed 30k in size. – All Half-Banner ad files, including flash, must not exceed 30k in size.
• Design*Sponge does not accept script files or ads requiring additional coding.
• Flash ads served on Design*Sponge require the addition of clickTAGs in order to track ad performance data. Any ads not containing clickTAGs will not be eligible for optimized ad serving and will not record clicks for ad views served. A clickTAG is an industry-standard method of tracking Flash creative clicks. Problems with Flash creatives may result from an incorrect clickTAG implementation. • Please make sure that: 1. You have inserted the clickTAG in the .fla file before
converting it to the .swf file. 2. The clickTAG variable is properly implemented in the
action of the button. In the getURL() function of the action, make sure to specify the clickthrough URL as 'clickTAG' and the target window as "_blank". For example: getURL(clickTAG,"_blank");
3. The ActionScript with clickTAG is associated with the button that the user clicks, and not with any other button.
4. The button associated with the ActionScript that contains the clickTAG is on the top-most layer through the timeline.
5. The button associated with the ActionScript that contains the clickTAG is extended throughout the entire frame and is applied to all existing frames.
6. Flash creative is using ActionScript 2.0. ActionScript 3.0 isn't currently compatible with Design*Sponge.
7. Flash is version 8 or lower.
