You can take PTE Academic exam as many times as you want. The

institution or the Immigration Department are not able to judge your score

6. What is the minimum score required to pass PTE

Academic Test?

You must achieve a minimum score of 36 in all four modules of the exam if

you are applying for a proficient level. While for superior level, a score of 51

across all four skills is mandatory.

7. Can I postpone or cancel my test?

Yes, you can postpone or cancel your test. However, you will not receive any

refund if you fail to appear on the day of exam.

You may receive a partial refund in case you cancel your test before the

appointment date.

8. When should I reach at the test centre?

You should arrive at least 30 minutes before the exam starts. This will give

you time to check in and pass security process.

9. What if my name on an ID doesn’t match with the

name I registered with?

You will be disqualified for the test and you will also lose your test fee.

before the exam day.

10. Would I be only able to take PTE Academic Test in

my home country?

No, you are not required to be in your home country for giving PTE

Academic exam. You can take it any of the Pearson test centres around the

world. If you are giving this exam outside your home country, you may be
