Overview:
Training and Placement Cell is an integral
part of Sinhgad Technical Education
Society’s Smt. Kashibai Navale College of
Pharmacy, (SKNCOP) Kondhwa (Bk.) Pune,
a premier institute in Pune city offering
Under Graduate Program (B. Pharm.), Post
Graduate Programs (M. Pharm.) and Ph.D.
program. SKNCOP has been in the forefront
imparting excellence in education, research
and extension at all times. We maintain
highest standards in education, extension and
research through imparting knowledge,
inculcating skills and developing the right
attitude. The institute is affiliated to the
Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune and
approved by AICTE & PCI. The under
graduate program (B. Pharm.) has been
accredited by the National Board of
Accreditation (NBA), New Delhi. The institute is recognized by University Grant Commission (UGC),
New Delhi under the section 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC Act, 1956.
We have a team of experienced and well qualified faculty in the college. Faculty research projects are
funded by major national and state funding agencies as well as by industry.
The alumni of this institute occupy very good positions in business, industry, R&D and academia in
India and abroad. The Institute has consistently produced outstanding pharmacy graduates who have
excelled in their career and occupied responsible position in some of the best known enterprises in
India and across the globe.
The Training and Placement Cell (TPC) has been set up with an objective of bringing industry and
academia close to each other. TPC team actively involved in arranging various activities for students
such as soft skills development program, guest lectures, pre-placement talks, and interactive sessions
with industrial experts, etc. The TPC team also actively involves students in various activities to
develop the Participative Managerial Effectiveness.

1. 5 Days Certificate Course on Pharma Skills Development from 16th Sept. to 20th Sept. 2019
for Final year B. Pharm. students.
Students are trained on various skills that are required to be ready for the pharmaceutical

2. Career counseling session on ‘Pharmaceutical IT compliance & Computer System Validation’
was arranged for M. Pharm. Students on 12th May 2019. Students were made aware about new
career avenues for Pharma graduates in IT industries.
3. We at SKNCOP are committed to put efforts to guide, groom and prepare the students
for a better tomorrow. An online interactive program titled "Careers in Pharma &
Healthcare Industries" was organized on 1st May 2020 in the lockdown period due to
COVID-19 pandemic. Students were benefitted by the guidance of Prof. Ulhas
Karkhanis who has 4 decades of rich pharmaceutical industrial experience in various
departments.

1. Smt. Kashibai Navale College of Pharmacy, Kondhwa (Bk.) Pune, (SKNCOP) collaborated
with Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Researcher (IPER) Pvt. Ltd., Pune for Pharma
Skill Development to develop competent and complete pharmacists.
