OBJECTIVE: To use sports as a means to unite as many people as possible for a noble cause: Helping the kids of the San Jorge Childen’s Foundation and the Casa Cuna of San Juan.

LA CASA CUNA DE SAN JUAN
The mission of “La Casa Cuna de San Juan” is to provide a transitional home for mistreated, abused and / or abandoned
children from 0 to 3 years in age in order to guarantee their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. The intention is that
every child has a home in which his/her integrity as a human being is protected; for this reason “La Casa Cuna de San Juan”
promotes adoption as a choice of love.
SAN JORGE CHILDREN’S FOUNDATION
The purpose of this non-profit foundation is to provide medical treatment and reconstructive surgery to children afflicted with cancer, thus improving their quality of life. The foundation, with the help of professional groups of diverse disciplines, establishes the specific criteria and priorities in order to allocate proper funds to the children. The San Jorge Children's Foundation is the forerunner, the first vehicle affording economic support to the infant population of limited economic income of the island while providing top-notch medical expertise with cutting edge technology and equipment.

ABOUT ROSELYN
• Born and raised in Puerto, actress Roselyn Sánchez has worked really hard to establish her career in Hollywood. • In 2001 performed in New Line’s blockbuster hit RUSH HOUR 2 starring opposite Chris Tucker and Jackie Chan, playing the character Isabella Molina, an undercover Secret Service Agent. She received an ALMA Award nomination for Best S u p p o r t i n g A c t r e s s f o r h e r performance. • Roselyn was recently seen on the big screen opposite The Rock in THE GAME PLAN for Disney which opened at #1.
• In 2006, Roselyn starred opposite Bill Duke in YELLOW; which she wrote and produced. • Roselyn participated for four seasons as Elena Delgado on the hit CBS television series “Without A Trace.” This role won her, her first ALMA award in 2008. • Sanchez’s other film include: starring opposite Cuba Gooding Jr. in the romantic comedy BOAT TRIP; starring opposite John Travolta, Sam Jackson and Giovanni Ribisi in BASIC, directed by John Mc Tiernan for Sony Pictures and the Forest Whitaker produced film CHASING PAPI, a romantic comedy for FOX
2000. She also starred in the independent film NIGHTSTALKER that is loosely based on the Richard Ramirez killings in California during the 1980s. NIGHTSTALKER received its world premiere at the 2003 Sundance Film Festival,. UNDERCLASSMAN for Miramax starring opposite Nick Cannon and EDISON starring opposite Justin Timberlake, Morgan Freeman, LL Cool J and Kevin Spacey, playing the love interest of LL Cool J. • In 2003, she released her debut cd entitled “Borinquena.” She was nominated for a Latin Grammy for “Best Music Video” for the single
“Amor Amor” which she also performed at the 2004 Lat in Grammy ceremony. Sanchez is also an entrepreneur and ph i lanthrop is t , she is a s p o k e s p e r s o n t h e P E T A organization participating in their highly successful “I’d Rather Go Naked Then Wear Fur” campaign. • In addition, Roselyn is the first Hispanic ambassador for Operation Smile. • Also in Puerto Rico, for the San Jorge Children’s Foundation and recently for Casa Cuna de San Juan.
