The wales Festival of Architecture returns in April and May for aprogramme of talks, films, exhibitions and workshops on thesubject of architecture, design and the environment. Venturingbeyond our hub at Aberystwyth Arts Centre, the 2018 Festivalreaches out to a wider audience across Wales to explore the

positive impact that well-considered architecture has on people’severyday lives and experience.We hope the 2018 Festival of Architecture will offer something ofinterest for everyone who cares about the places and spacesaround us.

DESIGN wOrKSHOPSaturday 21 April 10am-5.30pmbe an architect for the dayAfter a briefing on the history of architecture,drawing techniques and the practicalities ofsustainable design, try your hand at producingarchitectural drawings and designing an eco-building in one day! The wales Festival of Architecture is a joint initiative betweenAberystwyth Arts Centre – Aberystwyth University – and theRoyal Society of Architects in Wales Mid-Wales Branch. RSAW isthe Royal Institute of British Architects in Wales, representingaround 650 Chartered Architects in four Branch areas of Wales.
