• Began in 2006, and set for completion in 2020.

• Provides that curriculum content standards must reflect current research and meet the needs of the 21st Century workplace and higher education

• Provides for quality instructional materials, aligned to content standards, and delivered in print and digital formats to meet the needs of all students

• Provides for equitable access to technology for students and teachers,

• Provides on-going quality professional development for educators

• Provides for adequate connectivity in schools and classrooms to ensure effective use of technology resources

EDUCATORS • Are well prepared to use current digital tools, to mentor, monitor,

and motivate students.

• Leverage technology to provide flexible, learner-centered environments that meet the diverse needs of all students.

STUDENTS• Engage in real-world learning experiences supported by modern

• Learning experiences require collaboration, and critical thinking, learning skills, and attitudes that will enable them to learn effectively for a lifetime of global citizenship.
