• Interpreter for the San Luis Valley Parent Institute on behalf of the “No Child Left Behind” conference.

Volunteer Work

Kellogg’s Foundation

• Selected county groups (SLV) to attend “Seven” meetings along with an at least seven members in each group concerning technology in Rural American.

• Kellogg’s gave each qualifying county group (Conejos) $10,000 to put forth towards technology in our county.

• I was chosen to attend a week long conference in Kalamazoo, MI. I represented my group to discuss our plans for our community in reference to technology.

• My son attends the Alamosa Headstart CDI/CPP.

• I was nominated and elected to serve as the President of the Policy Council by parents.
