•Geographical location: Baguio City occupies 49 square kilometers of hilly land on a plateau about 1,500 meters high in the southwestern portion of the Cordillera Central mountain range in northern Luzon.• Amount of Precipitation: The record for the heaviest volume of rainfall was in July 1927 measuring 4.77 meters. Baguio averages over 4500 mm of precipitation annually.•Climate The city is known for its mild climate. The temperature in the city is 8 degrees Celsius lower compared to the average temperature of the rest of the country. Baguio is very wet during the rainy season which is from June to October. However from November to May, Baguio becomes a tropical paradise.

FLORA AND FAUNA

•They make up the monotypic subfamily Pinoideae.

•Pines are evergreen, resinious tress growing 3–80 m tall.

•The bark of most pines is thick and scaly, but some species have thin, flaking bark.

•Cultivated worldwide for its aggregate accessory fruit, the strawberry.

•Strawberries can be frozen, made into preserves, as well as dried and used in such things as cereal bars.

•Strawberry is an aggregate accessory fruit. The fleshy part is derived not from the plant's ovaries but from the receptacle that holds the ovaries.

The significance of this biome to me as a SHRIM student is that it helps our economy specially the tourism aspect which we are into.
