BCC Newsletter (November, 2009) BCC TO SIGN TWO MORE COLLABORATIVE AGREEMENTS WITH DIFFERENT DEPARTMENTS OF THE UNIVERSITAT POMPEU FABRA (UPF) As you may already know, in November of 2008 representatives of the FPQ signed an initial collaborative agreement with the very well respected public university Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF). Additionally, the BCC has agreements with Banco Sabadell, and two signed agreements with the Universidad de Girona (UdG). The initial agreement with the UPF established the intention of both the UPF/idEC and the FPQ/BCC to work together towards the further development of the BCC's programme of study. Now that we have that initial agreement it is time to start to further develop the relationship between the BCC /FPQ and UPF/idEC. For the last 3 months negotiations have been underway with the heads of different departments of the UPF with the intention of supplementing the initial signed agreement with other working agreements and thereby further strengthening the bonds between the BCC and UPF. I am now happy to report that an initial draft of a collaborative agreement has been drawn up between the FPQ/BCC and the UPFs Library. Additionally, we now have an initial draft of an agrement between the FPQ and the UPF's very well known and respected language department. It is expected that the two new collaborative agreements will be ready to sign
