• There are some universal facialexpressions:

• Fidgeting shows boredom andrestlessness.

• Pressing fingers together to form asteeple shows interests, assertivenessand determination.

Closed Stance:

• Leaning backwards demonstrates aloofnessor rejection.

• Folding arms across ones chest or body isprotective and gives the impression of aclosed, guarded and defensive character.

• People with arms folded, legs crossed andbodies turned away are signaling that theyare rejecting messages.

• A head down is negative and judgmental.
