The Book and Project

• For this project I decided to choose the book The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time, by Mark Haddon

• For the project I choose to do the main theme of the book.

Main theme

• I personally believe that the main theme of this book is that we should all be treated equally, whatever are ones differences.

• One can see this in the book, as 15 year old Christopher struggles as he is not treated fairly because of how he acts differently.

• During a couple difficult times some people in the book weren't treating Christopher how he should be treated.

Addressing the theme

• I believe that the author did a good job addressing the topic that he was righting about, as he fully explained everything that was going on.

• I also believe that the author got the theme out there as we don’t talk about what he said often..

• I think that this book can help people who are having problems like Christopher has.

Points in the book

• I think that one of the main points in the book showing that people weren’t treating Christopher well was when he tried to investigate the death of the dog. Because he was doing that everyone got really mad at him, I think that in that scenario everyone should have been a bit calmer with him. Like we the policeman grabbed him on page 8 and Christopher hit him.

Points in the book

• Also latter on in the book when Christopher find outs about certain really important secrets concerning his family. That his dad was keeping from him he runs away to London and leaves the town that he was living in.
