•Courses delivered through in person instruction at a location outside of a Rutgers University facility.

•Division of Continuous Studies Locations- Raritan Valley CC, Brookdale CC, Atlantic Cape CC & Mercer CC

Off-Campus

•Course delivered completely through online instruction.

•All courses coordinated by CEGP use the Ecollege platform.

•Courses delivered through a combination of in person and online instruction.

•The in person instruction must occur off-campus and utilize the Ecollege platform.

CEGP Role in Distance Education

Course Activation•Courses that go towards our endorsement

programs. •We will activate other off-campus, online or

hybrid courses as long as our course activation sheet is completed and Department Chair signs off.

Advertisement & Recruitment•We advertise and recruit for the endorsement

programs that we currently offer through off-campus, online or hybrid instruction.

Admissions & Advising•We are responsible for the admissions process

for non matriculated students enrolled in our endorsement programs.

•We work on the admissions process with prospective students but we do not do academic advising.

Course Activation Process

Draft semester schedule based on student needs and departmental requests and suggest PTL’s for each course

Submit draft schedule to Department Chairs and Program Coordinators for approval.

Input and submit requests to the Rutgers Scheduling office (Fall & Spring) or Summer Session office (Summer), reserve off-campus locations and activate course shells in eCollege.
