Think about the standard and its elements. How do you fulfill each of these requirements in your own teaching?
What do you need to continue to improve on?
Use foundational knowledge to design or implement and integrated, comprehensive, balanced curriculum.
Use appropriate and varied instructional approaches, including those that develop word recognition, language comprehension, strategic knowledge, and reading-writing connections.
Use a wide range of texts from traditional print, digital, and online resources.
