College Improvement Meetings• Use of data measures college improvement but it doesn't make it

happen.• College improvement is driven by staff – teachers are the agents of

improvement• Far too much of what goes on in schools is top down, teachers need the

space to form bottom up approaches that work for our specific college needs

• There is a significant difference between sharing practice and developing practice.

• Teachers should be able to work within a supportive structure that gives them the time and space to improve their own practice

• Developing your practice needs to be personalised to your specific needs• Only you know what your development needs are!
