DESCRIPTION
Masterly hosted by the Robert Bosch Stiftung in its majestic Berlin Representative office, the EU-Russia Civil Society Forum open discussion “Russian civil society at risk - how can international solidarity be of help?” was successfully held on April 10. In light of the recent developments in Russia, the event represented a valuable opportunity to discuss the perspectives of cooperation between Russia and the European Union at the level of non-governmental organizations.

What is the EU-Russia Civil Society Forum?
a permanent common platform for mutual/horizontal cooperation
and coordination of civil society organisations
from Russia and the EU
to develop common positions
to facilitate interaction and cooperation
to provide mutual support, assistance and solidarity
to influence EU-Russia relations and political dialogue
to promote consolidation of shared values
to strengthen European legal regimes and European institutions
to create a shared public space

Who can become our member?
Registered and non-registered non-profit and non-governmental organizations, civic initiatives and social movements, except political parties, religious communities, educational and scientific institutions, trade unions, and employers’ organizations, which:
•share the values, goals and objectives of the Forum, •are active for at least 1 year, •got recommendations from at least 2 Forum members.
