DISCUSSION Problems in communication between couples e.g. they lack understanding each others differences,

allowing problems to accumulate making it difficult to solve the problems effectively and efficiently, not being able to solve

problems from either side with concrete information i.e. from a reliable source and failing to realize their commitment in

the marriage i.e. sticking together through good and bad.

CONCLUSION

SThese are the problematic factors that occur between the couples themselves that make it difficult to

DISCUSSION Muslims have a high divorce rate in Malaysia and it is due to not being able to fulfill the marriage criteria

which is based on obeying the law of Allah (‘God’ in Arabic).

CONCLUSION

SAllah has stated the objectives of marriage in Islam and so if couples get divorced and if it is difficult to

prevent the rise of divorces in Malaysia, it is simply because the will of Allah is not being fulfilled in the

marriage
