Front Cover Back of front cover I have put the two images this way round because when it is in the CD case they will be folded to make a booklet. I have overlapped this photograph with the photograph used for the back cover. This is to link the images together so the back doesn’t look too separate to the overall theme of the colour, which is the sunset shades (Yellow, Orange, Purple, Pink) I fell like this image is very genre appropriate as it looks like something an actual house genre CD cover would look like. I feel like it is unique and eye catching.

Front CoverBack of front cover

I have put the two images this way round because when it is in the CD case they will be folded to make a booklet.

I have overlapped this photograph with the photograph used for the back cover. This is to link the images together so the back

doesn’t look too separate to the overall theme of the colour, which is the sunset shades (Yellow, Orange, Purple, Pink)

I fell like this image is very genre appropriate as it looks like something an actual house genre CD cover would look like. I feel

like it is unique and eye catching.

Possible Song Titles

YouthSocietyNeed for ChangeSwitch

I came up with a number of names that I felt were suitable for the band name. These are the four

that I came up with. I then asked 15 people which name they preferred. The most popular two were ‘Forgotten Empire’ and ‘Sub Zero’ as they both the most votes (5). However, I felt that ‘Sub Zero’ was more genre appropriate as it roles off the tongue and sounds more specific to House/Drum&Bass genre music. Therefore, my final decision was to

call the band ‘Sub Zero’.

I also came up with names that I believe represented the song well and were considering

naming the song with that title. Therefore, I turned to my audience and asked for their opinion. The

clear winner was ‘Youth’. I also feel that ‘Youth’ is the best choice as it links with the narrative of my music video being that if you treat youths like they are antisocial and unpleasant they will eventually

mould to their stereotype and actually act that way, no matter what class they are from.

Booklet

The conventions of a booklet inside a CD case is to contain the lyrics in it. I chose to include the lyrics from the song in my video as this would make the most sense. This

will go in the inside of the front cover.

CD

I want the CD to have the same image as the background of the CD holder. This makes the CD almost camouflaged in the case.

CD holder and inside Spine

The spine is a cut out from the CD holder image. I gives

a nice effect when in the CD case and the change of colour keeps the CD case more interesting. The CD

holder image is the same as the CD so the CD is

camouflaged in the case.

Back cover and Spine

I used this image because there is not a lot happening so it would be easy for the font to show up against the

background.
