Off-shoring is a thing, however

The hot jobs change frequently
Probably will change jobs/companies at some point
Salary/Benefits
Start anywhere from $40000 to $80000/year
Can go up to well over $100000
Also may be eligible for bonuses and stock options
Pretty standard insurance, vacation, etc.
Contract work can be much different
Travel
Also a benefit

Depends on the job and seniority
If you want to travel a lot, become a technical sales person
