An online community where teahers of all Euroepe and beyond can meet colleagues, exchange ideas and practices, attend free training opportunities and carry out collaborative projects at distance in a safe environment.

The first step is to register to the online platform www.etwinning.net

eTwinning aims atPEDAGOGICAL INNOVATIONIntegrating ICT in traditional teaching methods, fostering project based learning, cross-curricular collaboration and student-centered learning.

eTwinning projects for distance collaboration among teachers and students from the same or different countries

•Total flexibility: you choose the subject, the type and complexity of the activities and the length of the collaboration. Almost immediate approval!

•No deadlines or bureaucratic procedures to register and activate a project!

•Once you register a project, you will have access to your own TwinSpace, a secured online platform with ICT tools, where you can invite your pupils and other teachers to work together. You can decide what parts should be public and what private, you can assign Teachers’ and Pupils’ roles.

•An integrated videoconferencing tool and chat for live meetings!

•Technical & pedagogical support, helpdesk line

•Quality Certification that can lead to publications (paper or/and online), case studies, National and European Prizes.

Some examples and ideas for networks you can use eTwinning for to share experiences, materials, discuss in forums, help each other, carry out parallel sperimentations in classes:

•Group of teachers who teach the same subject or share interests

•Groups of teachers and schools sperimenting on Coding, Gamification, or other innovative methodology both at national & international level

•Teachers from a same school who want share practicess and materials, sperimentations on vertical curriculum or cross-curricular projects
