TO SUMMARISE – DID YOU LIKE MY COVER?

Every person, who done my survey on my front cover, said

that they liked it.

TO SUMMARISE - COLOUR

The colour was said to “Compliment” each other!

Another point made was that the colour was the same through out, from the clothes, to the background, the mise-en-scene and of

the text.

The colours were seen to be sophisticated and follow the rules or conventions of a normal mainstream magazine with a similar

audience class.

TO SUMMARISE - LAYOUT

The concept of the text bordering the image was said to be a good way of showing focus on the model and important ideas to do with

the magazine.

A criticism of the cover was that the cover had a lot of added information that was not needed, like surrounding text towards the bottom of the page and a full interview box that made the image

look less of a classy magazine.

TO SUMMARISE -FONT

The font were said to contrast so key bits were read before others and showed different categories, like pull quotes, and cover

stories.

The fonts were also in different sizes which showed importance of different areas.

The fonts were all relevant for the type of magazine.

TO SUMMARISE -IMAGE

The male figure on the front was seen to be a rock like person, due to the looks, hair and costume.

The shot, is a close up, from head and shoulders which is also conventional for this sort of magazine.

The male is looking head on, although wearing sun glasses, by facing them, you can tell of the interaction with the audience

through the way he's facing.
