Effective writing and language usage set up students for 21st century literacy as college and career ready citizens versed in multiple disciplines. In this four day institute you will experience: Responsive Design to Build Learning Communities Expository Digital Storytelling A Culture of Learning Through Blogging Back-channeling with Students for Meta-cognition & Voice 5 Minute Maker Projects to Get Them Writing Digital Literacy Without Computers What Do I Do Monday?!? Ask Twitter! GoAnimate for interactive writing Prezi: WAY beyond PowerPoint Google Docs management with Doctopus Edmodo for collaboration and response across the curriculum Classroom apps: free, paid, and build your own...
