1923-27: studied Theology (in Tübingen, Rome & Berlin) 1933: after the takeover of the National Socialists, he criticised the Nazi‘s policy at a broadcast

1940: talking- and writing ban. 1940-43: gets contact to resistant groups against national socialism 1943: married Maria von Wedemeyer

1943 5th April: gets arrested by the gestapo 1943-45: gets arrested in the military prison in Berlin-Tegel, Gestapo-Prison & KZ Buchenwald

1945 8.april: The SS brings Bonhoeffer to the KZ in Flossenbürg

1945 9.april: just before the relief of the KZ, Bonhoeffer gets killed by the rope
