THE EUROPEAN ETWINNING PORTAL – WHY?

eTwinning offers a platform for staff (teachers, head teachers, librarians, etc.), working in a school in one of the European countries involved, to communicate, collaborate, develop projects, share and, in short, feel and be part of the most exciting learning community in Europe. The eTwinning portal is the main entrance of this platform.

Registered or not in eTwinning, through navigating in the portal you’ll be inspired by the work of this big community. Moreover you can get a glimpse of what is happening in each of the countries involved.

Under the Projects section of the Portal you can find a gallery showcasing a selection of the best-practice examples available. This section aims at inspiring you when you design and run your own eTwinning project.

Each project of the gallery has its own kit. Ready-made project kits are step-by-step guides to successful eTwinning projects. Project kits can be used as benchmarks for teachers who wish to implement similar projects or as tools of inspiration for fresh ideas.
