Human Behavior is the System of Culture, Leadership, Communication, and Group dynamics that determines

organization's action.

Definition of Leadership

• Later he took over the Taj Mahal Hotel and thus gave us The Taj

Group of Hotels that we know of today.

• Then Later he started with the first airline company of India.

• on July 1938 he was unanimously elected as the chairman of Tata

industries.

• He Had an empire of 95 companies under him at one point time.

Under his leadership TATA had revenues to the tune of Rs. 10000

JRD Tata cared greatly for his worker……

In 1956 he initiated a program of closer i. e “employee association

with management”.

It gives workers a stronger voice in the affairs of the company.

He firmly believed in employee welfare and espoused and principles

of an eight-hour working hour, free medical aid, worker’s provident

scheme, and workmen’s accident compensation schemes, which

were statutory requirements in India.

In 1979, Tata Steel instituted a new practice : a worker being

deemed to be “at work” from the moment he leaves home for work

till he returns home from work.

This made company financially liable to the worker for any mishap

on the way to and from work.

Motivation

• The word motivation comes from the word motivate

meaning : Move, prompt, stimulate, propel, activate and

arouse.

• For Example: Why does student X score 100 and Y, not

even 50? How can we get Y to improve so as to keep up the

name of our educational institution and help student Y to do

better in life?

This view is based on the belief that conflict is not only a positive force in a group

but is also necessary for a group to perform effectively. This approach encourages

group leaders to maintain an ongoing minimum level of conflict – enough to keep

the group viable, self-critical and creative.

He is working in Accounts Payable.Mr X from commercial team have submitted his business expense reimbursement claim to Mr AMr A have not processed his claim because as he has not submitted all supporting documents.When Mr X realized this dispute case. He became angry at his refusal to reimburse business expenses and confronted him in the presence of some of his co-workers.

When Idea Cellular Company launched 3G services in 2011, Company sets the higher packages than the other companies of similar business. This results in conflict between the Idea Cellular and the ones that are trying to retain their valuable employees but may not be able to increase wages

I am working for Global Cloud Xchange in Finance & Accounts and I have been assign an additional task of Vendor Reconciliation as on 30-Jun-2014 of all entities Suppliers (500+) within a month.

Additional work.. Yes it is stress, but I am enjoying this as it will be beneficial for me in future.

This task going to consider in our PMS for my promotions

Distress (Bad Stress)

I have worked in Emco Ltd as an Accounts Executive. It was my wronged decision that I had joined the organization.

It causes distress and my working.

Bad work environment. Poor book keeping. No professionalism. No manager support. Daily late sitting.

General Stress

My manage will be on leave for a week.

So, I have been assign as an acting manager

But I know that I will perform well and fulfill my HOD’s expectations.

One my manager resumes that stress will gone.

I need to complete my own work along with other activities of him.

Managing a team in his absence It will be stress for me.

Cumulative Stress

A young boy of 17 years old is in love

with a girl of same age. The boy was going through bad love life. He was not able to fulfill his girlfriends expectations. Slowly he gone in to depression

One day he asked his father for a bike to go to classes. His father denied the and asked to take his cycle. He felt so bad and since then boy was missing

Next day his dead body found at railway track.

Imagine the stress of that boy.

Father of that boy was shocked when heard the death of his son
