SummaryThrough this project that I have created I have learn what I would like to work on. And I saw that I have skills to do construction work so I did my research and now I know what I would like to do and that is do construction work build roads etc....

Section 2 Self-Assessment a. Process explanation- In my skills inventory assessment that I took my results

in career matchmaker and on my skills score are C and D and the top in careers that appear are computer and for fixing things in my inventory results it says that Visual Learning is 15% and Auditory Learning is 40 % and Tactic Learning is 45% so with all of those results it says that I am a Tactile Learner that means that I learn best from hands on experience where I can manipulate something in order to learn about it.

b. MBTI personality Traits Assessment and explanation of results- In my skills assessment that I tool my results in career maker my results were pretty good because I had C ‘s and D’s and then I went back and I review my answers and I saw I like working with stuffs like technology and mechanic stuffs and those things is the thins I’ll like to work on computers and fixing things.

c. Skills Inventory assessment and explanation of results- In my skills I saw that my results were okay I had C’s and D’s that means that am fair match and I review my answers and I saw that I don’t like helping much.

d. Architecture and Construction is about planning and designing buildings. Arts and A/V Technology and Communications is about if you like working in television, music, computer graphic animations.

b. Jobs Connected to match (es)- Web Developer, Flooring Installer, and Heavy Equipment Operations.I. Job 1: definition and explanation of- Web Developer- Creating websites using programming languages like java

and Html.Explanation- They plan the framework and work with programming tools. Scripting languages, and databases to make

the side functionYou need to know how to use a computer and you will know what is wrong with the computer you will have to be in a

computer most of your day the bad thing is that then your going to have headaches because you in the computer almost all day. They make good money the salary range is from 30,000 to 50,000 a year but then as you get good they going to pay you 100,000 a year you need a 4-year college degree.

II. Job 2: definition and explanation- Flooring and Installer- From linoleum to wall-to-wall shag carpets if you're walking on it a flooring installer probably put it there.

Explanation- Installers often specialize in a specific type of covering, such as carpet or vinyl, and affix it to wood, concrete , metal, and ceramic tile floors.

They work in daytime they also or in the weekends it all depends most of the flooring workers work alone or they might have one helper. The job involves kneeling, stretching, holding, and fixing material many installers have to provide their own tools for education you need to graduate from high school and you need to have training on that career to show that you know how to do the job and it make take up to 2-3 of training.

III. Job 3: definition and explanation- Heave Equipment Operations- Driving bulldozers, back holes, excavators, and other powerful construction equipment.

Explanation- It means they use bulldozers, scrapers, tamper and a pile drivers and shake or jolt the operator to do the work.

They work outdoors sometimes in bad conditions weather work is stress but work 5 days they do 40 hours and overtime if necessary. They get paid good the lowest paid is $11.51 the hour and the highest is $19.48 the hour and they need to graduate from high school so can get paid good but if you want more money you need to go to college.

They always work hard so their clients can be happy and there's a lot of smart people that know a lot of this business and most people that work for this company say that they love their job.

Summary for this company- Is that is where the worlds top talent works and if you want to be good at creating things that’s the place you need to be.

This is what web developers do is created websites like Face book, Twitter, YouTube

Summary for this company- Is that has been since 1982 it says that a lot of people call them so that their home is special and unique. They have a lot of material of every brand and type of wood floors like Carpeting, Marble, Laminate, Luxury Vinyl, and Ceramic Tile and people that work their have been working over 18 years so they have the experience to do the work

Summary for this company- Is that it has been seen 1961 and they have the best machines to do the constriction work like Volvo or Hitachi and that way they can build houses, building etc..

Summary for this company- is that their company will do anything just to build what your looking for they don’t care the size or budget that their project will be they just want their customers to feel good and then they will start with the wok until they finish it on time.

Job OutlookSummary of job most interested in and why- The job that am most interested is in Heavy Equipment Operation because you get paid good and you need a high school diploma in order to work but if you want to go to college and have a degree that would be better because you will get paid more and is not that hard but it is a lot of work and I would like to do that because am going to be building houses, buildings, streets, freeways etc… and that looks fun to do because you know what you going to do.

Training and EducationEducation needed for entry into Heavy Equipment Operation- You need to finish high school then you trained for a period of time and then when you done with your training you can graduated on that specific area you can to work because everyone in that kind of work do different things.

Type of degree needed- Is a Heavy Equipment Operation degree you must go to college or a training program for 1-2 years so you can know how to manage properly the equipment.

Description of degree- You must go to a college or a training school for 1-2 years so you know how to use well the machines.

Description of certification- You must go to training for 3-4 years to complete because they include instruction on multiple types of equipment and include Paid on the job training. And you will need to have a driver license that proves you are capable of using the machines and the equipment.

And this are the different types of machines they would be using

Summary of the school history- They were establish in 1965 and in the 1969 the colleges separated from Texas A&M and they became more independent and is a great school to attend.

Admissions Requirements- You need to graduated from high school, complete a GED certificate have to be 17 years old.

Length of the program- It depends because there 1-2 years program so you can learn all the stuffs and there's 3-4 years if you want to be more advance and get paid more.

Summary of tuition and fees- All the tuition and fees have to be paid in cash

Why attend this school- Because it’s a great school where you can get your skills and training to prepare you for the future and work in what you like.

Summary of the school history- Robert Klabacka was the one that created this school in 1959.

Admissions Requirements- You don’t need to take a test because they train you there so you can know what to do and how to work the machines and you need to graduated from high school.

Length of the program- 1-4 years

Summary of tuition and fees- At the (ATS) Associated Training Services they offer several tuition financing options. ATS is a financing assistance program is design to make it easy and affordable to enroll in any of our training programs

Why attend this school- Because they help you with your tuition fees and they train you in the program that you want to learn.

Summary of the school history- Hcc is one of 6 major branches of the Hcc district. And it brings the highest quality to the west Houston area.

Admissions Requirements- Graduated from high school

Length of the program- They have 2 year academic degrees and certifications.

Summary of tuition and fees- In the district tuition is $31 per hour (50 minimum) General fee is $25.50 per hour Technology fees are $9.80 per hour and student activity fees are $1.00 per hour ($12.00 minimum) Total is $63. per hour.

Why attend this school- Because is a great school and for me is very close of where I live I can get there by car and I can get there like in 5 minutes and that way I can stay close to my family.

Training and EducationSummary of school most interested and why- The school I want to attend is HCC because they are a great school and because is not far from where I live. And because they have the career that I want to study and for me is the best school because I can work and then go to college because the college is so close of where I live

What is your plan of action to complete your application-Am going to be taking the compass test around March and then so that way I can start college as soon as possible that my plan of action to take the compass test so I can get accepted by the school (:
