WHEN DID THE EXPEDITION START

Cortes started his expedition on March 1519.

WHEN AND WHERE WAS CORTES BORN

Hernando Cortes was born in the Spanish city of

Medellin in 1485.

WHAT DID HE FIND

In November of 1519,Cortes and his men reached

the Aztec capital and met Montezuma.

The Aztecs may have thought Cortes was a

god-king , and so they treated him and his

soldiers well.

WHERE DID HE GO

Hernando Cortes had gone to lots of places . Such

as the Honduras.

WHEN DID THE EXPEDITION END

In 1539 , he went back to Spain , and spent much

of his rest of his life there before he died near

Seville in 1547.

ABOUT HERNANDO CORTES

When he was a young man he studied law , but

he soon gave that up to seek his fortune in the

New World.

Cortez was elected twice for mayor in Spain.

Cortes had also gone to Santo Doming.
