#1 My name is Jocelyn (but people call me Josie) and I love technology…especially the internet

Apart from spending too much time on Facebook & Twitter, I also keep up with digital news. My other hobbies include wiki-golf & looking for animal memes to convey emotions without text.

#2 I work as a social media strategist at one of the top agencies in town (BBH)

I love what I do. My role allows me to flex my strategic skills across diverse accounts such as IKEA & Google, where I plan, implement and execute social media campaigns.

#3 My proudest achievements would have to be….

…overcoming my crippling fear of dying in an amusement park

by riding the world’s tallest vertical rollercoaster drop

…a promotion to regional head of community management at the

age of 24

…being recognized as a knowledge expert & digital

I always keep my eyes on the prize

#4 I have a deep fascination with the impending zombie apocalypse

My friends & I have dedicated hours to our escape plans…which is a really fun way to put your project management abilities to the test. I’ve been quoted by online news media about my ‘hobby’.

#5 When away from the computer, I am usually found playing master chef in the kitchen. I enjoy food and throwing themed dinner parties for my guests.

I love being able to apply my creativity

to cooking… as long as I don’t have to eat it.

Hyper Island will be able to impart an industry-relevant, fresh perspective on how I can be a better leader & team player. This course will also give me exposure to more facets of digital & a deeper understanding of the industry. But most of all, I want to be armed with the tools and thinking, as a graduate of the MA in Digital Media Management at Hyper Island, to apply my learned skills and bring my ideas to life.
