I am Benjamin Chan from Singapore, and these are what I would include to demonstrate the legacy of my
country.

Culture of Singapore Singapore also known as the “Lion City” is influenced by Malay,
South Asian, East Asian, and Eurasian heritage.
Where the East meets West, Singapore’s culture is the amalgamation of Asian and European cultures. Hence, we are also famous for being a food paradise.

Singapore was a British colony in 1819.

The Garden City The Singapore Botanical Gardens is honored as an UNESCO
World Heritage Site.
The Garden City Gardens by the Bay was built to transform Singapore from a
“Garden City” to a “City in a Garden”.
Racial Harmony Day Singapore celebrate Racial Harmony Day on the 21 July annually to
