Imagine Dragons- radioactive Imagine dragons, radioactive is a music video where there looks to be illegal toy fights in a shed and a girl with her toy goes there to set them free with her stuffed bear. This is a concept video as the lyrics don’t really fit the video as there are stuffed toys fighting and the lyrics don’t describe this. Also the pace of the music doesn’t fit the video as the video is rather fast and the music has quite a slow pace, this is due to the fighting adding action to the video. The lyrics “checking out on the prison bus” helps me to think that this is illegal as the lyric” prison” suggests. They are also gambling on the winner of the fight and it is fixed as the champion toy cannot be defeated so this is another indicator of the illegal part of the video. Also the lyric ”breathing in the chemicals” also sounds as if they are taking drugs which also is illegal so they could go to prison for and also associates with the title of the song “radioactive” again suggesting why the toys are alive .The lyric “radioactive” gives a reason to why there are stuffed toys alive as they could have been exposed to radioactive material to make them come alive. When this image hit the screen the lyrics “the apocalypse” suggests that this certain toy is the “apocalypse to this regime so will end the enslavement for the other toys and set them free. This is apparent by this toy winning and then destroying this illegal toy fighting ring. Then the girl in the video steals the key to release the other toys and the band who are locked in the dungeon. Also the lyrics “it’s a revolution” suggests a change is about to happen and the other toys who are imprisoned will rise up against their slaver. This happens right at the end when the leader of the illegal group gets a
