Color Theory
• Color is determined by light waves.• Due to the biology of our eyes, humans can
only perceive three colors RBG (red-orange, blue-violet, and green).
• Technically we cannot see true “violet” light (ultra-violet rays).
Subtractive Color (Pigment - CMYK)
Yellow Cyan
Magenta
Additive Color (Light - RGB)
Red-Orange Green
Blue-Violet
Primary Colors Secondary Colors• Green (Cyan & Yellow)• Blue-Violet (Cyan & Magenta)• Red-Orange (Magenta & Yellow)
