Introduction of communication The word communication has been derived from the Latin word “ communis ” means to share.
It is also the source of the English word “common” which means that whatever is common is shared by all.
Communication may be defined as sharing information and ideas so as to create mutual understanding between people.
According to Newman and Summers, “Communication is an exchange of
facts, ideas, opinions, or emotions by two or more persons”
According to Peter Little, “ communication is the process by
which information is transmitted between
individuals and organization so that an understanding response results”
