THE LIBRARY

GENERAL POLICIES AND REGULATION Students should wear prescribed school uniform with their validated ID

cards upon entering the library. Non NMCFI faculty, staff, or student may be allowed to use the library

upon payment of a special library fee to the accounting office. Silence must be observed at all times in the library. Discussion must be

done in subdued tone. Smoking, eating, sleeping, drinking are not allowed. Littering is prohibited. The library should be kept clean and orderly.

GENERAL POLICIES AND REGULATION CON’T.

Chairs must be pushed back against the table after using hairs must be pushed back against the table after using and must not be transferred from one place to another without permission from the librarian.

No student is allowed to clip or otherwise mutilate any book, magazine, or newspaper in the library.

Cell phones must be set in SILENT MODE while inside the library. Answering /making call should be done outside the library.

Torn and missing pages should be reported immediately. Stealing, mutilating, defacing, vandalism of library materials and equipment are

punishable. Students caught doing such will be held liable for disciplinary action sanctioned by the Librarian with the help of the College Discipline officer.

Library clearances will not be sign unless library accounts and other obligations have been settled.

A fifteen (15) hours library attendance for every student per semester. Non- comp lance of the normal hours required subject to non-signing of clearance.

BORROWING POLICY

General rules:

Library user should present their school I.D. before borrowing books, periodicals and other library materials (Non- transferable). Alumni of NMCFI must secure permission from Vice President for Academic Affairs.

BORROWING POLICY CON’T. Student 5 Circulation books for 2 weeks 1 reserve/filipiniana books for overnight

Faculty 10 books per subjectsfor 1 semester 3 Periodicals (back issue) for 1 week

Staff 5 books for 1 month 3 Periodicals (back issue) for 1 week

Alumni, researchers from other institution is inside use only

Php. 10.00 per day excluding Saturday, Sunday and Holiday.

Reserve/ Filipiniana Book

Php. 10.00 per hour excluding Saturday, Sunday and Holiday.

BORROWING POLICY CON’T.

DAMAGED/LOST BOOKS AND OTHER LIBRARY

Damaged or lost item must be reported immediately to the librarian and to be replaced or paid within 30 days. After 30 days, charges are computed and forwarded to the Accounting Office upon the consent of the concerned patron. The payment for a damaged/ lost book shall be equivalent to the item current value together with accrued fines and the processing fee of P100.00.
