WHY PUT LIBRARIES CONTENT IN ONLINE COURSES?

Students want “just in time” resources that fit within their specific learning context.

Embedding Libraries content in the online course puts resources and services at their fingertips.

Time after time we hear “I wish I’d known about this when I started my class months ago”.

Connects students to expensive UW content, like e-journals, books and research databases, that librarians have carefully chosen.

24/7 CHAT WITH A LIBRARIAN

Anyone (students, instructors, staff, non-UW) can use our AskUs service to get help from a librarian, live, 24/7.

Qwidget is a chat widget that provides access to the 24/7 chat.

Qwidget can be added to online course pages, and works on javascript enabled browsers.

Product, pricing, promotion and distribution channels of IT Outsource companies? Do you know where I could find this info?

As a current extension student (an evening program in sports medicine), how can I access journals from the UW library for research for a paper for this class?

How can I get information that is in a book in the library if I'm a distance student? I'm still learning how to use this database, and I admit, I'm not having much luck. If I can find an abstract, do you have services that copy and mail journal articles to my home?

I teach an online course for UW Educational Outreach. May I check out books from the UW library system?
