Although this image isn’t necessarily astudio shot (it looks quite natural) theblack and white effect makes the imagelook smarter and more stylised, despiteit’s natural look. An image like thiscould be appropriate as a backgroundfor my double page spread.

This image is funny because of the way the personstanding behind the record seems to be perfectly alignedto the image on the record sleeve he is holding up. Alsoan image in this style also can hint towards the artistsinspirations, or just bands he likes – for example if thiswas a photo shoot with another artist and they wereholding up this record then the reader might recognisethat the artist was a fan of New Order.
